Not standing for the national anthem is just plain disrespectful. Colin Kaepernick should've found another way to conduct his protest. I'm disappointed in Nike for enabling him. I'm also disappointed in LeBron James for encouraging him. But what can you expect from a man who never finished high school?

I won't get into the politics of this as Hot Topics is closed and will just agree to disagree with you but it is not true that LeBron James did not finish high school in spite of Laura Ingraham's uninformed statement to the contrary. He graduated high school from St. Vincent-St. Mary Academy in 2003.

Go JETS!

NYC football will be interesting to watch this week with standout rookies Darnold being thrown to the Lions and local kid Barkley giving the Giants an improved running game to enhance their passing attack.

The only thing worse that watching a 3 hour Dolphins game is watching a 7 hour Dolphins game. :)

The Dolphins actually played much better than I expected. It's only one week but I'm a little more optimistic than I was a couple of weeks ago. Those lightning delays were torture. Both times when they got delayed, the weather didn't look all that bad on TV.

After a year of Jay Cutler, I have a new appreciation for Ryan Tannehill. :)

I'm not really what you'd call a hater. I'm not even pulling for a team this season.
I'll be the first to admit the Patriots are good......they're too good, actually. I think that is what generates a lot of the negativity they receive.
I just couldn't resist giving Marsha a hard time.
Don’t worry. There’s maybe one or two years of dominance left for the Patriots. Brady is 41 freakin’ years old and there is no real successor at QB. When time catches up the end will not be pretty.

Jimmy G did drop a load in his pants in San Franciso yesterday, though. Maybe trading him is not as bad as I thought!

Anyone forced to endure a year of Jay Cutler is eligible for free counseling.....
