Last night was like an entire season worth of points. :)

I know it’s way too early to hope the green and white QB curse is over… but one can always dream, right? :)

Congrats!

Your QB survived the #2 he dropped in his shorts on the 1st play and had a good game.

See, no pity needed. They can't be awful forever. Law of averages.
Thanks. That pick 6 on Danold's first pass was a planned play by Bowles. I guess he thought after that the only path was upward. Watch for a drop kick used against Brady and company. :)

This weekend it’s the Dolphin and Jets in the race for second place in the AFC East. In the game against the Lions the Jets looked the best I’ve seen them play in decades (offense, defense and special teams). But it was the Lions who looked terrible under their new coach Patricia (Has any Belichick protégé ever had a winning record?). Hope they repeat against the Fins. It would be nice to have a paperbagless season for once.

Jets can squish the fish!

Pats have to skin a cat this week.

Belichick never seemed to have a good run until Brady was made starting QB. It seems the two of them were made for each other and each of their great successes are dependent on the other . Do you think when one retires the other will retire at the same time?

Well, I think the Patriots would still have won a championship with Bledsoe at QB. His getting hurt and Brady stepping in was the ultimate "right place, right time" story,

That said, my opinion (for what it's worth) is that if the Patriots win another Super Bowl this year you will see Brady, Gronkowski, and Belichik all retire. If not, Brady plays for as long as his skills hold up (and at 41 that window is very small) and that Belichik will stick around long enough to transition to McDaniels. Hopefully, they find a legit replacement for Brady by then. If not, NE is in for a period of bad football. A return to the bad 'ole days of the 60s - early 90's is pretty likely.

It's OK. Don't be sad for us in Title Town (Boston).

We still have the Celtics (who are poised to win another title. What is that? Like 18?), Bruins (young, hungry, and ready for another Stanley Cup), and the Red Sox (101 wins and counting. Hopeful for WS title #4 since 2004). Our teams have only won 5 Super Bowls, 3 WS titles, an NBA championship, and a Stanley Cup over the last 17 years or so.

Far be it from Bostonians to gloat. SwiftDogs are genuinely modest creatures :p

Seriously though, smart NE fans know the Patriots dynasty is poised to end in the near future. So, haters pour it on. Complain about the "cheating" and the "traitors". Whine about "spying" and "deflating". Continue to flog those long dead horses. You all know that you will miss the GOAT and his mentor when they are gone. At that point all you will have to discuss is the mediocrity of the rest of the NFL.

I am a smarmy, snarky puppy this early morning.......

Hey! The Jets Dolphins are 2-0. They are flying high. doing their best Flipper impression.

Patriots defense forgot to board the plane to Jacksonville. Ugly game. Kudos to the Jaguars.

The bad defense is a carryover from last season. Seriously, how do you let Blake Bortles light you up iike that? They also let him run all over the field. F for the NE D. D for the NE O. Jags D is legit.

Limping on to Detroit......

It's the fish that are 2-0, not the Jets. The Jets have never been 2-0. :)
