Quick side story since we were talking about team nicknames: LSU fans often say Geaux Tigers (pronounced as Go Tigers but spelled differently) and when LSU lost to Alabama in the National Championship game 21-0, I wanted to get a shirt that said 21-Zereaux. They really made them, too. I just never got one.

And to keep on the LSWho theme, I am a VT Hokies fan. Once when LSU came to VT to play, we got seats with family from Louisana in the LSU section. As we were walking in, they were doing the Geaux... Tigers chant. Some guy right in front of me would yell Geaux and then the crowd around would answer Tigers. I have a very loud yell. In lag time inbetween, I started yelling "HOME!" After a bit, my husband made me stop!

Well, that was a nail bitter. The fish played well today despite the O-line problems. If they wouldn't have given away those games against Buffalo and Tampa, they would be in good shape.

I saw where some guys hair got ripped off in a football game. I asked my husband about this and said that if I was a football player, I would jerk the holy hell out of the hair that hangs out from the back of helmets. I think it looks gross. I guess it's not a penalty. Maybe they'll tuck it up next time.

Florida State won 59-3 each of the last two weeks. That doesn't happen very often. Florida State has not scored less than 41 in any game this year. I can't wait for them to put 60 on the Gators in two weeks.

Panthers held Gronkowski in the end zone - he was mobbed.
Back judge threw the flag, which gave the Pats another play...
Then another ref stepped in and put the flag away.

They did not explain the reason why they didn't call
Holding that prevented Gronk from going for the ball.
They just said the game was over - then ran off the field.
Brady had to chase them down and, though he's even-keeled,

He appeared to lose it. TV viewers heard him swear.
I can't say I blame him since it, clearly, wasn't fair.
Here at home I also called the ref a dirty name.
Patriots deserved another chance to win the game.

I thought they should have gotten the call...and we all know how much I love Tom Brady and the Patriots! Or not. They said Gronk wouldn't have gotten to the ball anyway, but how do they know that, the way they were bear hugging him?
