I think Wes Welker had a lot to do with both of them attaining those stats.

More so with Brady than with Peyton, so far. I think the receiving yards have been pretty spread around for the Broncos this season. I was hoping for a little more from Manning/Welker together, but I think they're off to a great start. And Welker is always so heavily defended, I think that has a lot to do with it too. But it's good that the Broncos have several receiving targets. It's worked out well so far!

Welker has more TDs this year(9) already than he did with Brady(8) in 2007.

Manning still sucks.........:biggrin-new:

Them's fightin' words you know!

I think Manning is just over 1000 yrds away from passing Brett Farve's passing record. I think they had a graphic of that on the game the other night. He could easily still accomplish that this season.

I actually like Peyton Manning but not much of a fan of his whiner brother. :)

Fun Fact of the Day:

Tom Brady comes over to Eli's house and shines his Super Bowl rings for him.

I see some words here, but can't decipher if there is a message contained in it.........:p

That's for sure....how do you cover that guy? More importantly, why, oh why did the Pats let him get away?....I think I open up the checkbook based on past performance from Welker...keep him in a Pats uniform for life.....

I'm still PO-ed that he wasn't good enough for the Dolphins and they gave him to New England. :mad-new:

I'm a life-long Auburn fan, so this season has been surprisingly enjoyable. Before the season we were predicted to go 6-6 or maybe 7-5, extreme optimists said 8-4. Now we're (as if I suit up and hit the field at 52) 10-1 and if we can beat Alabama next weekend (a tall order, indeed), we'll go to the SEC championship game. Not bad for a team that went 3-9 last year. For Auburn to beat Alabama, they'll have to play a flawless game and hope Alabama messes up a few times.

Because nobody likes to listen to a whiner which is what Eli does when he has to come over to Tom Brady's house to polish that one more ring than Eli has! ;)

I could think of several answers but none of them would be flattering to the Patriots management. :a24: I wonder if they're having some second thoughts now.
