Somewhere over the rainbow
I thought they should have gotten the call...and we all know how much I love Tom Brady and the Patriots! Or not. ;) They said Gronk wouldn't have gotten to the ball anyway, but how do they know that, the way they were bear hugging him?

Dear Cat, though you've called it bear hugging,
To me it looked more like a mugging.
The Panthers were holding
So Brady was scolding
The ref as he ran away shrugging.

:biggrin-new: I love your rhymes! We will just have to look forward to Sunday night...I promise to be good when we win! :p :D But, I am worried we will be without Welker and we know we won't have Moore. Eek! Going to be another great match!

I'm going to have to nap for Sunday Night's game.

Or drink heavily..........;;D
;-D It's going to be quite the atmosphere around my house! Hubby and the 11 yr old will be cheering for the Pats and me and the two little ones the Broncos. (They are still little enough they think Mom's team is better. ;-D) I will probably end up downstairs by myself where I can watch in peace.

:D

You think Welker will play?

I was looking forward to seeing what the crowd reaction was going to be.

I don't know...he looked pretty shaken up after the hit. Isn't there a rule now that they have to sit out a week after a concussion? I don't want him to get hurt even more. But I was looking forward to the crowd's reaction too!

I think they made the right no call at the end. It was an uncatchable ball anyway. Had the ball been thrown better and closer to Gronk the penalty would have stuck. As it was the ball was thrown a few yards short. Thus uncatchable. And it can't be defensive holding since the ball was in the air. Had the game been played in Foxoboro the call would have stuck anyway. :p

I wasn't aware defensive holding couldn't be called if the ball was in the air.....sure about that one?
