When I was a kid and my older brother was heading out, my parents used to say to him "you're not going to Aiken Alley are ya?"

My brother is 12 years older than me, so at the time I had absolutely no clue this was where the ladies of the evening set up shop. I also always assumed it was Achin' Alley It all seemed very ironic when I googled it years later. As I kid I could only imagine what achin' alley was =)

I'll tell ya one thing - whoever filmed this does not know how to stop at stop signs (oh - they actually stopped at one later on in the film) - probably saw a cop! By the way, I watched it until the end - where are the hookers hiding? I saw nary a one

You are thinking of Aiken ALLEY not street - the two were not even close to each other. Aiken Alley was a very short alley behind the old Blue Shadow and Slipper Club and was an area known for prostitution for many years. All those old buildings were torn down for the new ball park. U are doing a terrible injustice to the people that live on Aiken Street
