Thanks for the update, Neesy!! Thankful prayers for success and continued prayers for healing and the process to come!"LATEST UPDATE. (04/10/19 2:30pm) Shannon just got out of surgery. The surgeon said the procedure went well and felt he'd been able to break the clot up and get him a lot relief. He's heading to recovery now. He'll have other things to get fixed still but his immediate danger has been lessened.
(04/10/1912:50pm) They've just taken him back to start his procedures. No idea how long it will take yet.
(04/10/19 11:45am) We have a room but it will likely change after surgery. Currently in room 2201 which is in the south building at Northwest Medical in Springdale. We are expecting his procedure to begin around 1 or 1:30 this afternoon.
Update on Shannon: For those that I've not already told (apologies it has been a crazy 24 hours) Shannon was hospitalized yesterday afternoon at Northwest Medical in Springdale. We are still in the ER ICU because the ICU unit doesn't have any openings. Shannon has bilateral severe massive pulmonary embolisms as well as a massive DVT in his right leg.
He's also been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and several other issues related to the two. He was initially to have a vascular surgeon perform surgery this afternoon but several factors have delayed that until the morning.
He is currently resting as comfortably as he is able to be. I have relayed all of the love, prayers and well wishes to him and he is very appreciative. He's obviously his charming happy self being stuck in a hospital bed but he has been very thankful as am I for all of the support of our family and friends."
These are all the updates that Tamara has posted that I could find - hope this helps - - really happy that he made it through surgery and is in Recovery now!
