Asking for prayers for a friend/neighbor and their family Their 13yo is being treated for some mental health issues. Very scary situation.

Thanks for asking. It's a long term kind of thing. The 13yo is currently in a treatment center. Not sure how long this may be. We are working on some fun cards to send, as snail mail is the only form of communication besides a short phone call with parents each day.

Hi everyone,

I did go to the dr last Friday for my headaches and he was concerned about my blood pressure. I balked at being put on medication because I was in pain, had been in constant pain plus popping all kinds of otc medication for the headaches. He agreed to let me monitor it for a few days at home.

It has consistently remained high though. I called to tell the dr and he sent a prescription to the pharmacy. Before calling me back or even discussing it with me.

I have had Scott and Brandon on my butt about being stubborn and that has caused some stress but it really bothers me, scares me, really, that the Dr just decided I need this. Period.

Could you guys please keep me in your thoughts? I am worried and scared about it all. Which I know does not help. But I am a natural worrier.
