Okay, Facebook said the seventh. ....we meant belated.
There’s snow on the ground and temps are in the single digits in the mornings. The birds have been outside lately with pitchforks and torches demanding free food. Bought 30 pounds of birdseed yesterday as I’ve seen Hitchcock’s film The Birds... I’m no dummy.

I had a cardinal sitting on my window sill yesterday morning when I opened the blinds about 6am. He didn't even budge which I thought was weird, he just gave me a look like "You talkin' to me?" I think the glass reflecting the sun may have provided some warmth or something, or he was casing my house...

Had another 10cm of snow during the night and it is sorta cold, about -9degC.

We are getting a break today from the cold. 42 is supposed to be our high and we are there already this morning. Snow is melting. 
Mayhap I can run my car to the car wash it is filthy from the roads!
Of course the wind is blowing, too, so it won't be a completely nice winter day, but it sure is helping to melt the white stuff! I think we're grilling tonight.

Overnight low was 14 below,it's getting so you see sights like this on roads around town..

For the most part, yes, but on Sunday I had to take out the trash, defrost the TV satellite with a water cannon, and sweep the car before the freezing rain could completely encase it in ice. This morning there were several more inches of snow, so I had to sweep off and around the car again as we needed to go shopping, and I had to hit the satellite dish again, so I can't exclusively stay in. Now it's snowing again. Make it stop.
That is lovely but I wonder why they would want to get married in the winter.
You know----I was married in December 26th; it's an impulse decision, for the most part.
It's uncanny how appropriate and funny this is in my world.
