So very cold, and windy, so if you have any exposed skin on your face or ears or hands they will,freeze really quickley. It's better to stay in heat and indoors and not go outside

My son is trying to convince me that he should stay home as apparently it is minus 45 today with the wind chill. (According to the Shaw channel, but CJOB says it is warmer than that)

I sent my son out in the freezing weather to catch the bus

It is 75° right now and one of the most pleasant days I've witnessed in a while. Last night was eerily quiet; porcelain night blue sky and ample full moon exposing unstirred pines. This afternoon the trees are again still as if waiting for something. In the shadows the birds carelessly rustle up dead leaves like a seamstress searching for a needle in her knitting box. Down the road I can hear a big rig switching into low gear, probably pulling in to the service station on the corner.

72??! Are you joking?! Wow - so jealous. Came here to post that it is FINALLY above zero for the first time in weeks. Around ten degrees and not too windy - miraculous! We now have somewhere over 57 inches of snow accumulation. I heard we broke the previous snow record. Makes sense, everything else is broken - take my spirit and will to get up in the morning for instance!!
