We got up to 72 degrees today and right now it is 70. Cool, pleasant breeze. I was at the doctor's office this morning and landscapers were laying sod and edging the sidewalks and tossing fresh pine straw around the manicured crepe myrtles. The redbuds are blooming all over- faint purple spatters through pine hills. We will have a couple cool nights next week but I think it's spring time in Alabama, regardless of what the calendar says.

That's just some bread in the snow that the rabbit and squirrel hasn't gotten around to eating yet
Turns out that photo was from last week, so the snow has melted somewhat

Yeah, but April is probably the best month, I think. We didn't get any bad weather here, thank God. It was east of us on the Georgia border. We will be coming up on our tornado season. Arkansas is on alert this time of year, too, I'd guess.Sounds like a good time of year to be in Alabama, Doc. Were those tornadoes that hit the state anywhere near you, sir?
Sad- warmer while working, but colder once I clock outRainy and WINDY here in NH. At least it is warm though, in the mid-sixties.
Gonna pay for that I'm afraid......
Yep. We've already had a few in the central part of the state. We're coming into the prime time of the year for severe weather here.Yeah, but April is probably the best month, I think.
