This is not exactly weather related but I found an interesting article about Swedish Canadians - I thought you might find it interesting/enjoyable to read :reading:
:m_starstruck:

Swedish Canadians | The Canadian Encyclopedia
I was in Minnesota once and visited an old Churchyard. Only Swedish names on the Stones. It could just as well have been an old churchyard in Sweden. Dated from the 1860-1930,s. Read in your article that many moved from Minnesota to Canada.
On a more weather-related basis is the fact that it seems i was wrong. Winter did not miss us totally this year. Seems it plans a quick visit in the Stockholm area this weekend. I could do without it but what the heck, let the kids have their fun, throw some snowballs, make snowangels for a few days. I can live with that. I might even throw a snowball myself......

You are right (I think maybe we have a lot more trees out this way - at least in my province) - Manitoba isn't as highly populated as some other provinces like Ontario or Quebec

:snowman::thumbs_up:
I've made some Canada related research. Stockholm is a bit north of Churchill, Canada but a bit south of Whitehorse, Canada and a tiny bit more south of Anchorage, Alaska.All i say is thank god for the Golf Stream. If it stops you will see another immigration wave of swedes.

I am feelling depressed today as last week was warm and snow started to melt. And today it's snowing hard again, and the melting will start over, it will be even more dirty and slippery again. I would like to have normal spring now, we have too little sun here this year:(

Coldest day of the winter today, actually the first day i would call a winter day this winter. Some hail, cold and really windy. Frooze my hmm.... assets off nearly. Of course the doctor appointment had to be on the coldest day, what a timing!! I just want to burrow deep into my bed and blankets and try to feel warm.

We had a talk and it ended in that we would try to limit the amount of meds i put in my self eachday. So as of today i will be taking 2/day instead of 2,5/day of one of my meds. The hope is that we overtime can limit it to an absolute minimum since it has other effects than just limiting my epilepsy. If i have any attacks i should go back to the original dose. But she doesn't think so. She thinks it is the other EP-med i am taking that does all the heavy work so to speak. Therefore this test. I also took some bloodtests. four pipettes (is that the correct word?) but i havent got the result yet.

Hope you will be able to lessen the meds without any issues. Good vibes!!

Fingers crossed for you that will do the job.
