I like to fish at a particular lake. The lake has public boating, a public swimming area, campgrounds, picnic areas, and hiking trails. The state of Pennsylvania has put a ban on spraying for mosquitoes all around the lake because it is a testing area for West Nile Virus and Zika Virus... and actually want the insects to carry the viruses. The state government idiots couldn’t think of another section of the state to do their testing that isn’t visited by tens of thousands of people during the mosquito season?
....and they wonder why Centralia is still burning........
Yikes. I think I'd find a different fishing hole!
Can’t spray too close to the chocolate...
No mosquitoes there. The toxic gasses kill them faster than a Stephen King novel reaching the NY Times Bestseller list.
Perhaps... But it’s just such good fishing. Plus, only electric motors are allowed on the boats, it’s remote because it’s set between two mountain ranges, it’s scenic, and all the wildlife (especially the bald eagles) are such fun to watch. Also, the US women's Olympic rowing team (eight's) sometimes practice there because the mountain ranges kept the winds down... They are such fun to watch.
I guess, if you have your bug spray. Some of our mountain mosquitos don't give a rip what kind of spray you have on. Or the horse flies, they were awful last summer!
Bug spray is what gives Hershey Milk Chocolates that unique taste. I was in Hershey the other month and picked up some chocolates. The hint of N-Diethyl-3-Methylbenzamide was extra tasty.
You help the rowers put on insect repellent, DiO?
Borrow Plok’s ......I mean Sunny’s flamethrower, CAT. That’ll fix those bugs...just be careful around the kids and Scott...

We’ve been lucky with a low level of horse flies last couple of years. But the Stink Bugs and Spotted Lantern Flies have been horrendous recently. Where I live is ground zero of the Invasion of the Southeastern Asian Bugs... that are now threatening billions of dollars worth of crops such as grapes, peaches, apples, hops, walnuts and hardwood trees.
