That’s what teenage neighbors are for. Robot lawnmowers are all the rage now with millennials, or so I’ve been told. I have yet to sell one, though.

(Be sure to get Stabil 360 and not the regular Stabil if you go with that brand. I'm hearing we might be going to 15% ethanol soon in gas. It will devastate all smaller motor products, including boats and motorcycles if we do. Luckily some gas stations like WaWa are starting to carry ethanol-free gas, but it costs 60 cents more per gallon on average.)
Will watch what is bought. Thank you, again. teenage neighbors do not exist, and the ones that do would not know what a mower blade is or where to find an oil plug!

Thank you-- ok, will bring parts with me. adding stabilizer to list. It's the once a year full maintenance . Don;t mow as much as I used to, but grass grows way too fast in FL. Home Improvement center should offer a mower service, getting too old and arthritic to be dealing with the blade.
I sharpen my mower blades with a Dremel and the sharpening stone attachment. A whole lot cheaper than buying new blades.

LOL. My daughter had her best friend stay over last night, who often stays with us. When I went to leave to go to work I noticed one of her tires was flat. I asked her if she had AAA. No... of course. I told her it might be a slow leak and I could inflate it till she gets it plugged. It was like I was speaking an alien language. I don't think she even knew that air goes into a tire. Of course someone moved my tire inflator that works off the cig lighter in a car and I couldn't find it. I had to grab my bicycle pump and inflate it... and showed her how to inflate a tire. I'm getting too dang old for this stuff.

And whenever I sell a lawn mower to someone young I ask them if they know how to maintain it. You'd be surprised how many people have no clue. I teach them how to change the oil, replace the spark plug and air filter before I sell them one.

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas got married. I don't know how GoT ends, but this makes up for all she went through on that show. Poor girl.

Okay - just saw something on TV about this surprise wedding which was held in Vegas - now I know who he is at least - one of the "Jonas brothers"

I am happy 'cause I got a letter in the mail.
Not the kind on my computer; this arrived by snail.
"Letter" doesn't do it justice... It was more a gift.
Envelope's a goshdarn work of art... You get the drift?

Inside was a card, a letter, gift and photograph
(Taken at the King Kon of me and my better half)
All the way from Canada to brighten up my day.
Neesy , somehow, "thank you" doesn't seem enough to say.

There you are with worries of your own about your spouse
While I sit on my fat butt and mope around the house.
That's the problem... My ex-Catholic guilt is kicking in.
Feels like I abandoned tet-mates. That's a mortal sin.

Didn't wish a "Happy Birthday" to a lot of friends.
Wasn't here to comfort when a loved one's journey ends.
Missed the stories and the jokes and hadn't heard the news
That the Board is closing down for good... :icon_eek: Here come the blues.
:Oo:

Who are these people? (she says as she crawls out from her cave) :p:okay: (Good for them - whoever they are - I wish them many years of happiness) :star:
I have no idea if he is a good singer or not. :D
In my opinion, none of the Jonas Brothers are very good singers. They were the teen craze several years ago, so I think in their case it's more right place right time kind of thing.

I think they started out as a Disney channel tv show for tweens and some how became hugely popular. I love how after they broke up or what ever their said their purity rings were just a joke and did not prevent them from having sex. But anyway

:distracted:

I just booked a 10 day trip to Ireland for June.
Going with my Mom and sister; we're over the moon.
Have a car and plan on staying at some B&Bs,
And I'm gonna buy the book by travel guide, Rick Steves.

Even though I've heard that all of Ireland is nice,
Thought I'd ask if anyone from here has some advice.
When in Rome, Ms.Mod's advice? "Gelato, every day."
(Marsha, I'm so glad I listened to you, by the way.)

If you've been to Ireland, what is it we must see?
Flying into Dublin; after that, our time is free.
Where to stay, or eat, or drink; the sites we shouldn't miss?
(You can skip the Blarney Stone, which we're too old to kiss.)
We love the west of Ireland. Make sure you see the Burren. Rock of Cashel. Remeber that distances take longer than you think. My husband has a blog called irelandinruins. These are places that are free to see.All of the places on the blog have been visited by one, two or all three of us. The pictures are our own. Most of them have road directions. Let me know how you get on.

Okay. I just went and looked at your site. That is seriously a cool place with a lot of information. Since my ancestors are from Ireland, I will be going back through this from time to time to learn more. THanks for sharing that.

Your little 'poems' inspire so many of us

I feel I need to apologize myself - last Thursday I monopolized the Board. Just before closing time I went on a posting spree and didn't realize how crazy I was going at it until I logged in on the weekend to check on birthdays.

I'm so glad the letter arrived safely :)

Isn't it nice to get something by snail mail (other than those dang bills)?

By the way - Andy had his PET scan yesterday - I made a joke about forgetting to bring our cat with us ["PET" scan - get it? :facepalm_smiley::cat:]

Speaking of cats -mine is now trying to get my attention so I will cut this short

Don't be sad about the Board closing - Ms. Mod gets to retire!

We still have until 2020 to enjoy ourselves.

Not sure if I will make it to the final King Kon but I might dust off my cowgirl boots just in case

Say hi to your hunky spouse and I hope you enjoy getting out on the greens golfing - we are finally getting warm weather here ourselves - yippee :m_applause:
