I love the smell of a real Christmas treeOur tree! The gifts under it are only a part of them. The rest are in the attic. Karen is bringing them down Christmas Eve. That 42" TV is up there!

Lately I've been trying REALLY hard to look on the bright side. Yesterday I practically sliced off a chunk of my thumb. Probably should've went to the doctor, though I more than likely wouldn't unless I cut it off completely. Bright side - had an appointment to get my hair trimmed today, so I didn't have to beg someone to wash my hair for me. Don't think I should even attempt to get my hand wet for a few days.
Well that sucks that you cut yourself.
Oh crap. Wrap it tight and keep it clean. Watch it closely for infection of any kind.
It quit bleeding this morning. I do have a blood blister of some sort under the wound from holding it so tight to stop the bleeding and to try to make it stop hurting. But I don't think it's infected. Thanks guys for being concerned about this spazzy klutz!

My sister came to help take care of me and she and a friend went grocery shopping and bought good things.
It's even better that they took the pieces of the broken scooter and shoved them up the rental company person's nose.

We decorated our tree tonight! It is so pretty! Kat, and Kaden helped. Kat had a lot of balls to the bottom! Karen fixed it though. I was doing a video of it, and it was fun to watch the kids decorate their first tree.

Wanna know something else? Karen, and Sam are pretty much done with Jehovah witness'. Karen said it was getting to be more about certain members of the church, than about Jesus. So it got to political to suit them. They have not been to any meetings since last spring. I'm so glad about that!
I know the decision to leave can't have been easy for them, but I am glad for you and the kids.
It's my personal belief that God doesn't like the politics either and doesn't care which "denomination" you go to as long as you are a good person.
