Woo Hoot!!
Just be careful!!The snow melted enough for me to force the back gate far enough open to squeeze through.
I'm happy that some of the SKMB members are finding the therapeutic value of Cannibis Oil. I know someone that has tried it, he says it has gotten rid of some arthritic problems with his hands. I was reading about someone who suffers from a hand condition that makes his hands itchy.
My father had problems with his hands. He used to wear one of those copper arm bracelets around his wrist (he read that it absorbs things out of your skin). He also used to rub tea tree oil on his hands. He also had oneof those things that give you little pricks on your skin (supposedly for circulation) he also had one of those things that gives you deep heat thermal thing. I notice I have been getting slight cramps in my right hand and the arch of my right foot over the last two years. He also used to wear gloves with the fingers cut off (especially in winter). My father said his hands were worse because of the years he worked as a Merchant Seaman and he arthritis in them. (He worked in the engine room, putting the coal in the engine etc.)I am also having problems, particularly with my right hand. I have another doctor appointment on the 28th to possibly refer me to a specialist to learn what may or may not be wrong with me.
my father had something like this as well (or something similar):I am also having problems, particularly with my right hand. I have another doctor appointment on the 28th to possibly refer me to a specialist to learn what may or may not be wrong with me.
I was looking through my father's book , The MacMillan Guide to Family Health edited by Tony Smith (1982) and they have a checklist thing for all different complaints at the front, and the section to do with 'Hands, forearms, and elbows' had stuff including 'Carpal Tunnel', I'll photocopy the checklist, it had some other thing that said 'does your neck hurt as well?" I've noticed if I have a few beers, the next day I get cramps in the arch of my right foot and right calf. One day I was in the library and ended up on the floor in pain.I am also having problems, particularly with my right hand. I have another doctor appointment on the 28th to possibly refer me to a specialist to learn what may or may not be wrong with me.
Congrats! Good to read about kids reaching goals! My youngest was just accepted into a prestigious university in Washington, DC… known for politics, law and journalism (almost 20,000 apply for only 1,700 spots). And to top it off she was accepted into their Politics, Policy and Law Scholars Program. Scholars program? It wasn’t very long ago when her mother and I believed we’d need to tell her a career in food service wouldn’t be all that bad. Kids can sometimes completely surprise you. The kid might actually end up becoming a supreme court justice or US Senator... who'd of thunk it?
And, no, we didn’t buy her way into the school.
Thanks. Now we just have to find a way to finance it. Although she received a sizable scholarship from the university, it still is quite a nut to tackle. Luckily the Scholars Program (with a legal track) will enable her to receive a bachelors degree in only three years then move directly into their law school.Congrats!
Congrats to your daughter!! Play the lottery for the remainder of the funds neededMy youngest was just accepted into a prestigious university in Washington, DC… known for politics, law and journalism (almost 20,000 apply for only 1,700 spots).
