I noticed that the kid who played Ben did a fantastic job emoting with just expressions, but am I the only one who could not stop looking at his nipples? They looked so weird.

Also, I was sad that none of the kids said, "Beep-beep, Richie," but Pennywise does! People who didn't read the novel would have no idea why the clown would say that.

Another note: It would seem that Stephen King himself is in the universe, as one of the bullies is wearing an Anthrax t-shirt with lyrics from "Among the Living" on it, which happens to be a song based on The Stand...hmm.

And did you notice the two turtle references? :)

I'm still waiting for "Smell-O-Vision"

It's been done. John Waters filmed Polyester (1981) in Ordorama!

You can still get the screech & sniff cards on Ebay!

the beep beep and the turtle references are the standard nods to the novel for the readers, stuff that wouldn't make any sense to anyone else. i mean what are the odds that the inclusion of "beep beep" would have made a lot of sense just because the losers said it? it's kind of a random phrase.

Greetings from Finland, Europe!!! :) The premier was here today and the theater was full. Some of the audience was dressed like Pennywise ;) The atmosphere was thrilled and excited.

Glad to hear you liked it :encouragement:

i've got a nice quality, cheap theater near me. 9 for a night showing but i paid 10 because i ordered online to be sure i could get one. i'm trying for an atmos showing next time, so it'll be more in line with what the other theaters charge for a regular show, probably 12 or 13 (which is probably 14 or 15 at the other guys).
