My family has a hereditary bone disease that affects the spine.....the vertebrae slowly soften and disintegrate. It becomes severely painful and debilitating.

Sorry to hear this Sunny - stay healthy (hope there is something you can do to slow down the bone loss)

So, not long after going back to work, I came home one evening and Munchkin excitedly told me there was a surprise for me in the fridge.
Thinking it was a cheesecake, or something, I rushed over to open the door and saw this......

It took me a minute to register what it said, all the time, Munchkin was watching me and smiling. When I finally got it, I said " Oh! You are!!! Okay, let's eat some cake!" I have to give her an A for creativity. We had a good talk, and I told her that I love her and support her 100%, unconditionally. Forever. I'm glad that she trusts me and feels safe telling me things.

Good for her!
