Magnificent!

No condos or hotels visible on the beach where I was, just beach houses like this. The hotels are back a little ways and have access roads to the beach and the beach houses are on the access roads. Very nice not to see gigantic condos (I'm not used to that ).

Might be in keeping the "old feel" of the area. I'm rural, but the closest beach- has condos right up to the beach line!

I sure will, Nomik. Prayers for you all. Teenage boys often suppress alot of emotions, especially about something this painful. They don't typically confide in their mothers, but has Daniel been able to talk to you about it? I hope his trip to visit Chris goes well.

He’s opened up about in minimally. He actually broke down into tears about the prospect of losing his dad. Hopefully the chemo works.

There is a beach state park (Anastasia state park) very close to here that I wanted to go to during the day but didn't have the time. The amphitheater I went to is in the state park.

It's supposed to be an excellent restaurant. It was too fancy for me on this trip. I was down the street swilling beer and eating clams.

Cool! I’m probably going to see the musical adaptation of The Evil Dead within the month.

I got most of a Columbia costume: a top hat (black), sequined shorts, I have a corset, seamed fishnets, a red wig and a red bow tie. I plan to spray paint the hat white and then cover with gold glitter. Don’t know what to do about the jacket part...,

Hit a thrift store and look for something you can turn inside out and paint with the same gold glitter as the hat?? Have a blast!!
