I love you Tet
Hi all! I hope things are well on this brisk October day. I finally broke down and bought a winter coat.
On a more somber note, some of you know that my ex husband (father of my Daniel and very good friend to me) has cancer. He’s is in his third month of chemo and he is soooo sick. I went out to visit him in July, and Daniel will be flying out in a few weeks for a visit. He just texted me because he’s back in the hospital due to chemo induced sickness. He’s frustrated because he’s been trying to work every other week. He’s been working on the weeks he doesn’t have chemo but he can’t work this week because he’s in the hospital.
Anyway he is a member of the board and one of the Halloween Story writers for two years in a row. His chapter will be posted later this week I believe. If we could generate some positive vibes, blessings, prayers, or whatever it is that you do to manifest health and good things for people, send them all to Chris Keenan please.
...I have the one released about a year or so ago....
(((Sunny))) Positive vibes being sent that all will work out in your favor.Hi Y'all!
Just a quick check in before another crazy day in Sunnyville.
Munchkin had the two baby teeth extracted on Monday, as well as all four wisdom teeth, and a gold chain attached to an impacted upper tooth to guide it into place after the baby tooth was removed. As far as I can tell so far, the procedure went well. She's swollen, and the pain has subsided quite a bit. She still can't eat solid food. I'm crushing up her antibiotic and ibuprofen tablets into applesauce or juice, because she can't swallow pills either. Her dad and stepmother have been coming to the house for a few hours while I work, so she won't be alone. She's getting really close the the 8 day maximum absence policy because we have to drive 45 minutes to her orthodontist, and we had to drive two hours for the oral surgeon......no one here will accept her medicaid insurance, so we have to go where they'll accept it. There is a form to appeal the policy, and I'll be contacting her guidance counsellor today to see about that.
Things at the salon are not great. The owner is raising the rent by $10 per week on January 1st, and is taking away two of the rent free holidays.
She's also failed to keep promises of better lighting, keeping the backbar restocked, and retail products stocked. She's also bought herself a second house, and a new truck, and brought in "boutique items" to sell in the salon. It's looking a lot like a flea market in there. Several stylists feel that she's gotten herself into a financial problem and is trying to compensate. We're all extremely frustrated, and that salon set up in the mall is still vacant.....but I want to apply for an inspector position at the first of next year. There is no guarantee I'd get the job, but I want it. If I open a salon, I wouldn't be able to apply for the inspector position. I'm feeling kind of stuck at the moment. I'll have to wait it out, though.
I've only been able to briefly skim the postings by everyone, and I'm sorry. Here's hoping Y'all are all well and happy, and sending positive vibes to all who need them. Have a love & daisies kind of day ♥

...glad the toothless wonder is hangin' in....and here's the deal....pursue the Inspector job...if that doesn't come to fruition-then get the details on the open storefront and see if your stylist friends would come with you to make it doable....the owner is screwing you girls, and you don't get to enjoy it....Hi Y'all!

...damn, sorry honey....Hi tet! As usual, I've been off and running. I had a crazy weekend of rock shows and Vancouver, BC road trip but it was sobered by the fact that one friend's sister died of an overdose and another friend's husband committed suicide. It's been a real emotional roller coaster over here.
Thanks! Both were so young (early 30s) and left kids behind....damn, sorry honey....
