To the ones who have restless leg syndrome, please tell me what it feels like to you.

It's hard to describe. Today is the first time I had it when I woke up even though I took the tablet last night. At first it feels as though You have to move your legs because of muscle fatigue (sort of) and then you notice it keeps happening until you realize it's that familiar feeling you don't like. While having the symptoms you can't read or sleep or think of anything else. Sometimes it happens higher up the leg or the base of the spine, but I only noticed this once. It isn't pain but it is impossible to ignore.

Good morning!

It is my husband's birthday today. :love_heart: He has to work but we are having all the family over for dinner and cake tonight.

Going to the mountains again on Sunday, for a few days. Probably the last time this summer. Kids start back to school on August 19, so by the time Scott's next 7 off roll around, they will be back in school! And just like that, summer is over. :(

Hope your day treats you kind. Have a great weekend and a good week next week too. Big hugs and positive vibes to all! :love_heart:
Happy birthday to hubby! Be safe out there and have fun.

When I'm awake, it feels like a weird kind of "electrical" feeling in them. Hard to describe, almost like a low voltage charge is running thru them. It doesn't hurt, but only goes away if I move my legs or get up and walk around. When I'm asleep, it's different, usually the same kind of "electrical" feeling but quite a bit worse when I'm sleeping.

Thanks, ghost19. That is the way mine feel, and it keeps me awake.
No problem. If the meds your doc put you on don't help, might ask him about Pramipexole. It's made a world of difference. I have more problems with mine just sitting in my recliner when I'm trying to veg out watching Netflix or listening to music. Anytime I'm still for any length of time, both legs start bucking around. My mom has the same condition which is where I may have inherited the condition from. Blood clots in my lungs from dad and restless legs from mom....THANK YOU BIOLOGICAL PARENTS!!! LOL
