The Fuzz | Brooklyn Puppet ConspiracyI can't find in the credits of The Fuzz whether it's related to Henson, but if not then they copied the puppets exactly.
On the subject of Henson, what I'm really looking forward to is the prequel series of The Dark Crystal, Age of Resistance. Dark Crystal is still my favourite work from Jim Henson (his own too, I believe). I think I slightly prefer it even over Labyrinth. Neither films were very original of course, Dark Crystal is Lord of the Rings, and Labyrinth is Alice in Wonderland, but the execution was so brilliant that it didn't matter.
It seems the Age of Resistance series is gonna be done with puppets, and it was scheduled to appear this year on Netflix. Yet there is so little news about it, that I get the idea it may be postponed.

...don't know if this will help any, it does appear that the puppets skate along the fine edge of copyright infringement.....
...it appears to be their own website.....I'm not sure what kind of site that is. But there does seem a direct connection with Henson productions in the Puppet Costume Designer (now, why isn't that an Oscar category?), Poly Smith, who worked on Labyrinth and Muppet Christmas Carol.
sounds intriguing.I watched the animated Batman: Gotham by Gaslight last night and enjoyed it quite a bit. Basically it's an alternative history where Batman exists in the era of Jack the Ripper and is trying to find the killer. Entertaining and different!

I saw this movie when it first came out. At the drive-in, and I'm thinking, WTH? I thought this was the dumbest thing ever. Now, I can appreciate it for it's quirky fun quality. I had fun watching it again. This movie should be listed in the dictionary under 'dark comedy'!
I think when it was released it was promoted as horror. So, like you, when I saw it the first time during the opening segment I was like WTH but then it clicked and I started to enjoy it for what it was. I love the gal that plays the sister. She cracks me up in everything she does. I think she was in Porky's, too.I saw this movie when it first came out. At the drive-in, and I'm thinking, WTH? I thought this was the dumbest thing ever. Yep, Nancy Parsons was the sister and she was in Porky's and a lot of other films and television:I think when it was released it was promoted as horror. I watched Hostiles on Netflix. It's one of the best movies I've watched in a long time. Beautiful, savage, poetic, visionary. My jaw came off its hinges the first two minutes of the film and I couldn't look away until two and a half hours later. It was better than 3:10 to Yuma, I think. With a haunting and understated soundtrack and panoramic scenes of the West that are like oil paintings, this is a movie not quickly forgotten. 5 out of 5 Remingtons.
