I watched it recently and I loved it! There's going to be a second movie focusing on Benoit Blanc -- I loved Daniel Craig's accent (CSI KFC) . I really loved all the charters in this movie. Ana de Armas was awesome. Very versatile! Toni Collette made me think of a Kardashian!
So nice to see you MadamMack ! I will definitely be on the lookout for this movie. Toni Collette is always amazing.

Watched The Postcard Killings starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a fairly weak run of the mill serial killer flick, performances are workmanlike at best, whole thing lacks soul, actors are just going through the motions. I knew it was bad because my wife didn't like it either and she normally loves that type of movie.

Spiderman: Far From Home. I enjoyed it. I never saw any of the Avenger or Iron Man movies so I know there were parts in this that I had to fill in the blanks. I still think that Tom Holland is the best Spiderman. He embodies the complexities of a young teenage boy faced with the typical teen dilemas while tackling the 'bad guys'.

I'm not sure what to say about this. The humans are just as zombified as the zombies. Flat affects and lifeless shamblings. It's so weird and anticlimatic. It sort of sucked the life from me.

I'm glad I didn't pay money to see it in a theater. Great cast, but was it worth my time? Yes. No. Maybe I need to read a bunch of reviews to appreciate it.

Onward (2020)- Saw it two weeks ago, last movie I'll be seeing in a theater for awhile. It was a really fun, cute, and original movie I haven't really seen from Disney since Inside Out. Being a casual D&D fan I enjoyed all the references thrown in to the game. Good kids movie. I'd give it an 8/10.

Zodiac (2007)- Decent true crime flick with a good cast, although I didn't know much about the specific people it was about from what I understand the timeline was fairly accurate. One thing I didn't like was the fact that all the killings were acted out brutally on screen, which felt totally unnecessary, I wouldn't have minded as much if these weren't based on the deaths of real people, it just felt really inappropriate. Also Jake Gyllenhal's character does not seem to age physically at all over the 20 year period the movie takes place over. I'd give it a 7/10.

Dirty Harry (1971)- An entertaining movie, that's all I really expected out of it. I don't have that much to say about it. Alright, not great or amazing, but alright in an entertaining way. 6/10, also the killer's accent reminds me of Gru from Despicable Me for some reason.

12 Monkeys (1995)
Appropriate subject matter today: a virus has wiped out 99% of the population, and a prisoner is sent back in time from the year 2035 to collect a pure sample to help future scientists find a cure so they can return to the surface of the earth.

Full of twists, turns, and mind-boggling time travel paradoxes, this is an interesting movie that demands rewatching and discussions afterwards. And you've never seen Brad Pitt like this before (or Bruce Willis, for that matter). Directed by the late great Terry Gilliam.

We have Knives Out on Blu Ray but haven't had a chance to see it. We watched Frozen 2 last Saturday and we loved it. "Let It Go" is a great song but "Into The Unknown" and "Show Yourself" blow it away. It's pretty dark in places so be aware for watching with the kiddos.
We also watched Frozen 2 over the weekend. I had the opposite reaction to the songs though. The only one I truly enjoyed was Kristoff's power ballad. :D

I think Idina Menzel has a very powerful voice but for me, she walks a fine line between being beautiful to listen to, to borderline annoying. Maybe my opinion of the newer songs will change in time.

Loved the story though! And Olaf, of course. ;)

I don't know if you saw the Academy Awards, but they had all the Elsas (? is it Elsa?, I haven't seen it) from many of the countries that it has been released in sing one of the songs together, but each of their parts was in their language. I really enjoyed that.
