Okay another artist from my lil home town in Newfoundland. I know the ole guy in the painting. Anyway, this is by Derek Peddle.

Ha! I posted my reply before I saw yours. I guess it is impossible not to notice a talent concentration like this one.
There is only about 700 people there lol.
The art works are magnificent.
This is a pic of my cousin Lloyd when he was a young man. I have to wonder how they all knew to paint.....none of the folks there had any formal training. Just amazing eh.

Lol. One of my other cousins, from the family who does all the woodworking in Newfoundland, threw these logs on his back patio. His wife asked him what it was and he said.....Can't you see it? That is the new coffee table I am making.

Last year, at Christmas, I received two paintings from Lloyd and some wooden gifts....including a beautiful pencil holder shaped like a barrel lol.
I meant to say, that is their cabin near a pond.I love this, too.
I have to say, most folks in my lil town, have beautiful kitchens and lovely paintings,because of all the wonderful artistic people there. Another one of Edgar's kitchens.
