I had a nightmare after reading Tommy Knockers last night. I am halfway in the book. I shouldn't have read it before going to sleep and the horrible clown from It was there too. I can't finish that book.

For me, thats it exactly.It's the story of the characters in the town. The slow build of atmosphere. It's like I am SO glad I picked it up again.
He wrote Cujo in a three day drunken marathon.Isn't that the one where SK said he was deeply into substance abuse,and hardly remembers writing it? I agree that it wasn't one of his best,that one and Rose Madder just didn't appeal to me,at all..

Even though it is sort of like science fiction, to me that was quite appealing, as I like science fiction.
