...thank you sweetheart for your efforts, and yep-the ball is rolling....if someone can hit up Ellen, that would be fantastic.....it's more than I can bite off right now-but I'm certainly willing to help out....I have no fear of celebrity a'tall-hell, if someone gets me a contact-I'll make the call or send the e-mail.....

So I did it. The hardest part was downloading the required picture. I found one on my phone of him being a goof, before he lost his house. I added the link to his gofundme account. I told her he could tell his story better than I could. It was easy peasy lemon squeezy! I imagine if she hears from a bunch of us, it'll spark her interest. Maybe she's a SK fan too.
Oh I forgot to mention that we were all buddies from the SKMB. Oh well, she'll figure that out if we all pester her. ;;D

I guess I should say what I did... I used the link to #BeKindToOneAnother campaign to tell her about our Pat in the Hat. Just in case folks hadn't read the previous posts..... yeah. :smile:

Please be patient as I add an attempt to get help for a very dear friend of mine-Patrick Stringfield. I know that another member of the Stephen King Message Board(Patricia) has reached out to you.,,,and her message contained the main points. Allow me though to add my two pence worth. Pat is the brother I never had, he is as down home and home spun as a fella can get. His heart is loyal and his soul-loving. All he wants to do is honor Mama's memory and a promise they made to one another. Fate keeps throwing pitfalls in his path, but he doggedly continues to try to make it happen. As his friends, we have contributed what we can to his Go Fund Me account and have had two Ebay auctions to raise funds, but he still needs more to make the dream flower into reality. Ellen, this is a good man. With 37 years in broadcasting, I have seen and met many people, but few that have affected me as deeply as this Kentucky hilljack. He makes ME want to be a better man. This is a quest of genuine love, and we ask for your help to make it happen. Thanks for your time.
