I haven't seen him for a while but I heard he's doing well. Funny thing about that dog is that his owner is a real estate attorney and my mom was having difficulty with the sale of her condo (an almost ex-husband issue). So when I met Jake's owner, my mother was in need of legal assistance and I put him on mom's case and he helped her out. So finding the dog worked out pretty well (for my mother at least :)).

Wow, thats awesome :frog:

But he beat`s you, playing Scrabble :tounge:

This is an older picture of my sweet Little One. I've had her for over 17 years. This is the longest I have ever been owned by a cat. Tomorrow I have to take her to the vet to be put down. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life. She's been a wonderful cat and best friend for all of these years. I don't know what I am going to do after tomorrow when I come home and she won't be there to greet me at the door. She has become nothing but skin and bones in the last few months. She walks into the middle of rooms, stops and howls. She drinks water like crazy and eats little. The vet and I have tried numerous things (special diet and vitamins, etc.) but she is just too old now. I cannot handle looking into her eyes anymore and seeing the misery that she is. I know it is my duty to help her along and not have her be in misery any longer. It hurts so much.

May her passing be one of peace. You are doing right by her. Have been there too often. Hold each memory close. Her spirit will still be with and around you. I send you comforting vibes.

Thank you, Scott. She will definitely be in my arms as she goes, with me whispering in her ear how much I love her and how I will cherish the memories of her. She has been the best fur baby ever. I may not be on here for a couple of days as I may act like a Victorian Lady and have to 'take to the bed' for some emotional relief.

:biglove: I am taking tomorrow and Thursday off as vacation days because I know I won't be ready to go back to work on Thursday. I may not even go in on Friday. We'll see. I tried to do this last Friday (so I could have three days from work to heal) but I couldn't get approved for the time.

I'm so sorry to hear this, KRF. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Praying you will find courage and comfort during this incredibly sad time.

I named her Little One after I brought her home from the feline adoption center. I was told that she was around 6 months old. She was just a wee thing. She didn't get much bigger as she matured so it was the purrrrrrfect name for her. Her nickname is Honey Bunny.
