He smelled fine at Capclave when I had dinner with him a few years ago (everyone got to rotate around to his table if you wanted).

You can see him behind my husband while we were drinking mead.

Cool, I have some Viking Blood on my shelf at home. Good stuff.

Both my costume and scooter were in the shop, so I had to make do.
For my trip today, I'm in a semi-costume. Hope it keeps me out of any jams.

Funny listening to people in line. LOTS of urban legends and goofy stories about Mr. King going on around me--I keep giggling (my daughter is shushing me-lol). I wonder if he knows he's a combination of Indiana Jones, Sherlock Holmes, and God?

Thoroughly great night! I got a couple of good pictures and a signed book Mr. King was funny and relaxed and a complete joy to watch and listen to. Now I need to start my book.

Oh, and I got to meet up with mstay , who is still one of the nicest people I've ever met No pictures of us (I didn't even think of that until we were driving away), but it was wonderful to see her again.

Start taking notes- you just might have the makings of a book-- "what if......?"

HAHA! Mr. King talked about that 'what if' moment, when it comes to writing stories So many interesting things to say and I SWORE to myself that I'd remember some of the best lines, but I clean forgot almost all. Smiling so big that it's a miracle that the top of my head didn't just fall off must have made them fall right out of my head A guy in the row in front of me was taping the whole thing (Bad fan! BAD! BAD!), so I can probably refresh my memories via YouTube by tomorrow

Seriously, it was just a highlight of my year. Please pass along my gratitude to Mr. King, Moderator , because he was wonderful.
