I have a soft cover book with Rage in it - It is four Bachman books in one - I think I paid 4.99 for it at Value Village. You should be able to find a copy of The Bachman Books somewhere for a good price. The version of Rage is the same as what was in the original paperback, so no sleep lost there for you!
Maybe some day I will find a copy like this.... I'll keep looking ...
UPDATE
HC The Bachman Books Four Early Novels
Finally I saw a copy of this last week in a used book store. It was behind glass and looked to be in excellent condition.
He wanted $80.00 Cdn for it
Was it shipped from the US? I recently paid over $36 (USD) to mail a book to Canada. I live in ND and probably could've delivered it personally for less money!plus $15 & change for shipping
If it was a first printing (with a number line starting with a 1), that's a FANTASTIC deal. Not so great if it's a book club edition.

Your picture probably needs to be resized. We have a User Guide which will explain more about how to add images to a post but if after reading that you're still having problems, let us know. A paperback would not be a first edition. It's a few years old (2013) but we also have a guide for identifying first editions which you can access at this link.Guys! It's here!!!! After much stalking, yes, I know it doesn't make the package come any faster, my book has finally arrived!!! It is in MINT condition! A little yellowing of the pages, which is to be expected, but otherwise excellent. It's so old and fragile I almost don't want to touch it too much. If I tear a page I will be gutted. Here is a pic, and I have a question; is this a first edition? I know it's not the first edition of the original stories, and that it's a paperback, making it less valuable than a first edition hardcover, but still. I'm curious.
Okay, I'm trying to upload the images but it's not letting me and I have to get dressed and get this towel off my head before my hair dries weird. If anyone can tell me how to upload the file, the obvious way isn't working for me. I tried already. Not sure why.
I'm not seeing a pic but there have been several different paperback editions. Is there a string of numbers on the copyright page, e.g. 10 through 1? If there are but the string of numbers does not include the 1, it is not a first printing. And my mistake about it not possibly being a first edition as I was thinking of The Bachman Books, not the paperback edition of Rage.Yay! I did it. My hair is going to dry weird. I've accepted that. Okay, so maybe not a first edition, but is it a first printing of the paperback edition?
Ok, now I see it and it is The Bachman Books and has the number 1 so I think that is a first printing but the more hard-core collectors here can give you better advice.
Yes, it is indeed a true 1st printing of the mass market paperback. I love the cover on this one!Ok, now I see it and it is The Bachman Books and has the number 1 so I think that is a first printing but the more hard-core collectors here can give you better advice.
