I don't know where to put this but I just wanted to say Michael Berryman is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He has funny and interesting stories and is such a sweet guy. Hard to wrap my head around him being a villain now. He almost always is in the movies. Except for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" I can't think of a role he wasn't a villain in and now all that is ruined in my head. I can't watch him be a bad guy anymore. It just is not believable.

....ummm, I think she already does.....maybe reconsider what came off as pure rudeness.....

I wasn't being rude, I thought she lived in Maine or Vermont, somewhere up there.
GNTLGNT and Mr. Cranky, I think this was just a misunderstanding.

Please Mr. Cranky, see this post, hopefully it will clear things up a little.

Nah - she's in Alberta (a province two over from mine in Canada)

They have a really great waterpark there!

When we lived there we would go spend an entire day there in February when it was bitterly cold out.

Random thought: I just found a place on-line - it's about a 20 minute drive from my place and it's called "The Crusty Bun" - I found it while looking for cabbage buns

Um - edit - on second thought, I can walk down the street to the French bakery which is a good excuse to buy something yummy, because at least it gets me out of the house! (it's my day off from walking) - yesterday I did around 16, 900 steps which is normal for me when at work.

The one on the bottom right which is a bit blurry is called "Hartford Bread", named after our street

I'm about 14 hours off my home time zone, and it's throwing me off a bit.

Just had a dream here in my hotel room that ended when Grandma and I were at a beach town, and we saw a hadrosaur swimming up through the water. We were stunned and had excited words appropriate to such a sight. Then it came up and started carrion-munching on some big critter, which is strange, because hadrosaurs were herbivores. Then it went down the beach, going in and out of the water. Grandma and I followed but back a ways, window shopping, when an otter launched itself onto the back of my jeans, climbed up with sharp, strong little paws that I could certainly feel, and started trying to hump me. I'm going to leave out a detail here. I called out for Grandma to get it off, but she wasn't touching that thing (the otter). Otters are relatively small, so I lay down on my back to crunch it down and discourage it. If anything, it seemed to be enjoying the attention.

Then I woke up.

My gig starts in less than four hours. Now I'm a little concerned.

Nightmares and Dreamscapes. Did you have something strange to eat before bedtime? May you gig be a complete success.
if you start to lose the crowds attention, just tell them about your dream!;)

I had lunch at a nice restaurant close to the hotel. Squid, red chili peppers, some green leaf stuff, and roasted garlic. It was delicious. I'd never had a lychee juice drink before, so I ordered that. It was quite tasty.

Before bedtime... well, tidbits in the club room and a Taiwan single malt.

In my particular job, if I don't say a word, it's probably gone very well.
