I wanted to give my friend that rock-star-photography look. It was the right move and made him feel good about himself. Yay!
How far can you take a pot of roses? Not so far but it doesn't seem to matter.
I heard the sound of klezmer and I followed it like a musical bloodhound.
This lady said she couldn't understand English, so I took a chance.
I pointed at myself and said "żydowski".
Suddenly, it's smile city and she kindly agreed that I could take her photo.
And away I rolled, pursuing by a virtuoso performance of klezmer, complete with ghosts of European Jews laughing and dancing, in my head. .
I try not to sneak up on people and take photos without their consent. I know that professional photographers do, but this is my hobby.
And my hobby comes with a code - don't steal someone's image.
The caption on the t-shirt reads: "if you don't want to stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them".
Nobody knows who this soldier is. I think that's OK with him.
The things you see on the motorway (I think the nearest US equivalent is the Interstate). . .
Proof that there is a lot of weather in England.
I don't know if there's any significance to a double rainbow, but it meant something to me.
Once of my first photos.
Capturing a moment in motion made me feel like a magician.
Still does.
Doesn't happen very often.
The accidental picture - a little bit (OK, a lot of photoshop) and suddenly a vase of flowers goes all Impressionist.
Just a little fun.
I didn't mean to get caught up with ghosts again. But there are a lot of them.
One and a half million of them are little ghosts (out of six million, that is).
I want them back.
So much.
Not sure what the point of this was, except it was so clearly bonkers/ meshugge/bat sh*t, that I had to include it.
Besides I made lined paper look interesting.
Sort of.
Or is it the font or the words or. . does it matter?
Time to go.
