Let me get this straight: you LIVE on a gigantic pile of URANIUM???? ....and everybody is OK with this?
Yup. It was a great price. The elementary school is located six houses down from me (about a half mile) and sits on it also. I had a radon mitigation system put in before I moved in. Bears and drunk driving skiers are a bigger concern.

I'm not worried over any of it, though... as evil seems to live a very long time. :)

South of my house is rural farmland and peaches galore. Durbin Farms, besides being a farm, is a farmers market and restaurant. They make homemade ice-cream, fried apple pies, peach milkshakes and all sorts of vegetables to go with their fried chicken.
Doc!!!! Yay, I knew you would show up. Your photos are making me hungry...
Beautiful

Its become one of the attraction cities for Walker stalkers who are following the Walking Dead.

Old town, Stockholm. Founded ca 1252. The houses now standing are from the 19,th century mostly. The churches are older of course.

Built on a lot of small and big islands. In the background the Royal Palace.
Engelbrektskyrkan.jpg

The Engelbrekt Church. I used to play there a lot as a kid. Not in the church but in the greeneries that surround it. Engelbrekt was a hero that led a rebellion against the danes in the 15,th century.
katarina-kyrka.jpg

Katarina church. It is named after the princess Katarina, King Karl X Gustavs mother. Lies in the southern part of central Stockholm. Built around 1660.

The Hagapark. It is big enough that you can get lost in it. The Crown Princess and her family lives in it. My fave playing ground as a child.

This reminds me of St. Pierre which is a french island just off the shore of Newfoundland....my home province. It is actually apart of France. A few miles away, we have a part of France, lol. I loved going there.

Yessss my lovely they do, and I have never watched it that much but my boys all love it, and I wear my Walking Dead tee shirt! Ah how I wish that you could watch it! I would watch it for you if I could. :rugby: What I have seen, Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) is a cutie! Well at least they are putting our little town on the map and road trips from the stalkers of the Walking Dead travel far, once upon a time they were filming right on my street so that was pretty sweet! :tickled_pink:
