Hey, I need to try muscadine wine. LOL. I hear it's tasty. The jelly is so good, though. On a biscuit or English muffin with butter. I'll send you a jar one day.

Peaches are scarce in North Dakota and Kmart stores are scarce in Alabama. Ha. Walmart is still king.

All of our Kmarts have went out.
Sears owns Kmart and our Sears closed this past spring. I'm sure Kmart's days are numbered.

Doc Creed Do you enjoy canning? That is something I tried once and will never do again. I'll starve first.

LOL...what happened? Was it not everything Martha Stewart promised? ;)
I've never canned anything. Twenty years ago I assisted in helping make jelly but nothing since then. I'd say I have a marginal interest but I'm not breaking my neck to learn. I think I'd be game if someone was willing to show me.

Tomatoes are starting to look pretty good - the plant with the most fruit is the Roma or plum tomato one but we have one large beefsteak that is turning red plus another plant has just one turning red - I think it's the Manitoba variety or maybe the one that is called "Delicious" - I hope it lives up to its name!

A lady gave me some cherry tomatoes that are almost a light chocolate brown in color. I know there are weird colors/varieties of a lot of vegetables, but I'm always nervous to try them. :suspect:

I get a little variety cherry/grape tomatoes pack. They are fantastic. I try to find the container that has more of those light chocolate brown ones because they are deeeelish!
