What are the top five highlights of your life to date?

  • Meeting my kids for the first time
  • A motorbike tour of the South Island (NZ) with two other special people
  • Sailing on the Spirit of New Zealand schooner as a teen
  • 9 day Kayaking trip down the Whanganui river
  • Realising that I am far more resilient (and that I am more important) than I used to think I was
Actually five are not enough, feel free to add as many as you'd like. :)

  • 'Meeting' so many great people through this site. The SKMB has changed me in so many ways. (Marsha, Jordan... do you remember the frightened little mouse that you first met? The one that could barely sign in to the site, or her email? She has 'moved on'... )

My first kiss
My first love
Becoming best friends with my sister
Serving in the USAF, learning discipline
Finding out that I'm no better or worse than anyone else
Learning that fear is just an opportunity to be brave...
Gosh.. I'm 53 and I could do this all day.
Suffice it to say that I am grateful to be alive, and each new day is a blessing.

Thanks Our FlakeNoir for this wonderful thread. :biglove:

Keep writing books sir, you are the man.
4)The day I moved out of my parents' house
5)The first time I ever fired an AR-15 rifle....weird...I know but that day was bad ass......
