Hmmm - that sounds interesting - I did find out that steel wool can burn, so that's why they used to keep it in garbage bins for safety (learned this in basic training)

Crazy how quickly it can ignite. We had a few incidences over the years in the factory!

Spent the last fifteen years or so working as Data Analyst/Data Manager/Subject matter expert for the pharmaceutical industry. Before that I spent ten years working as a Pharmacy Technician in various hospitals (including just over a year in New Zealand where I met my wife).

In August last year I applied for role as a firefighter with the London Fire Brigade. Following multiple tests/assessments I passed the medical at the end of January, I believe this is the final hurdle. Fingers crossed I will have a conditional offer soon and a provisional start date for training soon.
