Spent the last fifteen years or so working as Data Analyst/Data Manager/Subject matter expert for the pharmaceutical industry. Before that I spent ten years working as a Pharmacy Technician in various hospitals (including just over a year in New Zealand where I met my wife).

In August last year I applied for role as a firefighter with the London Fire Brigade. Following multiple tests/assessments I passed the medical at the end of January, I believe this is the final hurdle. Fingers crossed I will have a conditional offer soon and a provisional start date for training soon.
That's great! Good luck with getting a conditional offer. :okay::clap:

Spent just shy of 18 years working for the Fayetteville, AR municipal police department. First six years were spent as a police/fire/911 dispatcher, next eight years were spent in the Criminal Investigation Division as an intelligence analyst and statistics manager. Last four years I was transferred to IT as the IT Systems Analyst which finally burned me out. Currently I'm the HUD Financial Manager for a local Housing Authority.

I have a very low level County Council job. For the last 14 years I have been a lollypop lady. American translation a paid crossing guard outside a school. I work getting children across a busy street in the mornings and afternoons. It wouldn't be for everyone as we are out in all kinds of weather and it's just not something that would appeal to everyone. I have to say, though I have met some wonderful people. Kids come back to say hi and tell me about exam results and things like that. It's the happiest I've ever been in a job.

I'm responsible for some of the costume and novelty jewelry that you see in various retail stores. Sometimes I am able to make samples by hand, but mostly I design on the computer and then send it to China to be made. It's a fun job, most of the time. I think it's pretty decent for someone who has an art degree but neither the drive nor the funds to create my own business. I like having nights and weekends free.

You need to do some clown shaped earrings! Of course it would be hard to do without crossing the line into copyright if you wanted to make it IT related, but still..would be cool!
Yeah!! Or maybe little multiples with a clown, a red balloon, and...a spider? Haha. I can't really do what I want, though, I have to follow the requests of buyers and look at bestselling trends. Sometimes they are really stupid and not at all my style.

Yeah, like I said to Arista up above, it would be nice if you could do something with more meaning to the earrings, like alliterative references.. doesn't necessarily have to be Stephen King but there is a whole raft of possibilities that you could mine there..
