It's been a long time since I did that much cooking and baking in a matter of days. Ian was downright spoiled! :)
The last night I was there Anne was working and Ian was working late. When he came in the door I had made
stuffed mushrooms, a spicy cheese dip called Fiesta Dip and cheese & bacon rolls. He was so pleased, he wasn't
expecting anything at that late hour. It was great to cook for them, I loved every minute of it. He asked if I
could stay another week as we wanted to take me out for a day to some of the used book stores in the City but
I told him it would have to be next time. Looking forward to that.

I've been cataloging my library for quite awhile now. Think i start to see the end of it now. But now i have everything ordered in a database and easy to access by mobile should i stand in a bookstore and wonder do i have this one or not? About 2500 titles in different genres. (yes i have quite a lot of bookshelves at home)

That's a lot of work Kurben, good for you! Should do that with my postcards but honestly don't know where to begin :hmm:

All that in my last msg and didn't answer your question. Not much baking as I took 4 tins of baking with
me. Did make a sour cream apple pie and a coconut cake---went the easy way on it. Baked a white
cake in a bundt pan and then sliced it horizontally and put coconut cream filling in it and coconut icing on
top.

Hey guys. I'm sure you've heard of the I-85 burning bridge collapse here in Atlanta. It's amazing that no one was hurt, or so it's believed at this time. It's going to be crazy here for a few months and maybe even for a year. I live a good ways a way but I know that rerouting will bring more traffic to my area. We'll just have to deal with it and I think we'll be fine. I've also heard that there were homeless people that live in that area under bridge. That concerns me. Take care all.
Oh no! I hadn't heard about this at all. I hope they don't find any casualties or fatalities and can quickly fix this. We drove Atlanta a couple years ago and the traffic was just over the top crazy. Now it will be worse.
