I will wish you all a happy rest of your week and weekend today. Tomorrow is our anniversary, celebrating 17 years!! We are taking a little jaunt up the road to Deadwood for a couple days. Really looking forward to it.

Yep.

We just got married at the courthouse and they only offered that service on Fridays. Valentine's Day was never the day we wanted, though. We were actually planning for spring time but Scott's dad had a very severe heart attack a little over a month before and he asked us to move it up. He had a pretty difficult recovery and wanted to be sure he saw us get married.

He had a second heart attack about 3 years later, but he is still with us!

So that's how we ended up married the day after Valentine's Day.

Happy Wednesday and Valentine's day to everyone!!

Star is taking much of my time and my work too. Then I do long walks with the dogs. But I am happy with this.
Been a tough work week so far and I am happy that I'm off from work tomorrow and Friday. Get more time with my
horse and my dogs.

Finally the weather is getting better, is not too cold. Was zero today but it snowed.

Hello, Tet! Wishing you all well. We're good down here! Come and see me sometime! Forecast looks like 10 days of rain. Woo hoo. Except I'm itching to get into the backyard and make it look like spring is coming. We're watching the Olympics every night. Everything is good and normal. Just enjoying that for a while. You know how it is - anything can happen to turn your world upside in an instant. Normal is bliss.
