I got to change a flat tire for the first time since high school today. In the rain. So, around $370 later, I'm the proud parent of four new bouncing baby tires. Tell the truth… you're so jealous it hurts, right? lol

What do you drive, a 4-wheeler Big Wheeler? I remember paying over $700 for some truck tires...this was two trucks ago, so it was some time ago. I can't remember what I paid for truck tires one truck ago...but I'm guessing it was more than $370. Did you have the dealer put summer...or winter air in the tires?

Not a clutch. Big enough to carry a wallet and a small notebook. Those are the only requirements.
I stick with small purses--the bigger they are, the more likely I'll stuff them with crap (lol). As is, I have about the same requirements you do: wallet, notebook, & phone. Have you looked at the new-ish cross body bags? My MIL got me one for my birthday & I've loved it, mainly because I can't leave it somewhere accidentally. This has happened to me distressingly often :p I ended up buying another one, I liked the one she got me so much. This link looks just like mine, but I have a spring green and a yellow:

EEP! Don't scare me! There is a difference in AIR?! I drive a 2002 Subaru Forester--AWD, so good for the snow we get, BUT you can't change just one tire, apparently. I ended up with a decent set of Firestones. They had a 'buy 3, get one free' so that helped a bit.

They probably added the climate-appropriate air when they changed the tires...but it wouldn't hurt to stop at your full-service station and ask the attendant on duty to check the oxygen level of the winter air in your tires. I believe AAA recommends we do this within two weeks of the time change. Improves gas mileage too, a win-win situation. I think the reason truck tires are so costly is because mostly guys drive trucks and we're impulse buyers...we're hungry, we buy food...thirsty, buy beer...need tires, buy tires...and unless Mom is there keeping a weather eye on the salesman...(saleswomen can do no harm)...we get took often. But...we keep up with things like winter/summer air.

skimom2 Impressive!! It's good to know how to change a tire. Before he'd let me get my driver's license, my dad taught me how to change a tire, check my oil, add some oil, add some water - and then lovingly gave me his death trap Pinto - LOL. Who knew. I think $370 is a great price for 3 tires. I need some, maybe I should look into. I was thinking it would be $700+

Oh Wednesday, you beast. I shall conquer you today!

Hello to you all! I just wanted to stop in and let you know that the vacation/pipe project went very well. I hope that you all had a very good week. I am off to mow the grass before it storms here. ( boy is it ugly here) Sending you all tons of good vibes and wishes for calm weather! I hope to talk to you soon. ( also my daughter just got over a chest cold......I am so thankful it wasn't the respiratory virus that is going around) Fingers crossed that none of our little ones get it!

I was wondering about you. Glad the project went well and the kiddo is okay. That respiratory virus is a scary thing. So many sick kids. Good to see you.
