No, not at all. But, I know everyone would like to say hi!Is that necessary? I am a little shy
I'm brand new here, and I'm very late on this thread, but someone mentioned Toomy's paper-ripping relieving anxiety/being an OCD habit. I think this is 100% true for him. But if you rip paper slowly (as Toomy did), it sounds a bit like the noise described as the Langolier's themselves (static-like, or like Rice Krispies.) I always found that a little intriguing that the sound that de-stresses him is so close to the sound of the thing he fears most. Toomy is a tragic character...one of the few "villains" I was actually very sad for.
