I sm thinking Tower. Have you read DT?I'm racking my brain to think of other businessmen in the SKU - are you thinking of any particular characters? I know that I'm not a fan of Corporate America!
We are very laid back and extremely welcoming! VultureLvr45 is a gracious and kind leader and has been our shining example!
Yes - I was thinking of DT too, but couldn't quite remember any specifics. Good call!I sm thinking Tower. Have you read DT?
Ha! Chicken, eh?? LOLyeh, she wears the rank well. and im sure she would slap me if I said too much on here, so I will refrain from any spoilers.
I'm sending thoughts. She had a family emergency. I hope and pray everything goes smoothly and she will return to us soon.
Yes. Good one.Oh, by the way, that wealthy businessman millionaire in the Ledge. He who made that tennisplayer crawl all around the house on a ledge or else...
I sm thinking Tower. Have you read DT?
Yep. That is the one. LOLprudential tower?
Well said. This is a first read for you, right? The characters SK has introduced us to so far have been incredibly diverse. I'm enjoying the back stories and getting to know what makes them tick. It will make it even more interesting to read about who steps up and who unravels.
Speaking of that i thought the story didn't work so well as a movie. The langoliers never got real enough in the movie. Probably because it is such a farfetched concept that that realuity feeling that is in the book doesn't transform so well to movie.(bites tongue) the movie casts some great characters.
I believe I read this eons ago - so it's as if I'm reading it for the first time! There are some flashes of recollection, but I don't remember what happens.Well said. This is a first read for you, right?
For three other stories in this collection it will be like that for me too! This one i remembered though.I believe I read this eons ago - so it's as if I'm reading it for the first time! There are some flashes of recollection, but I don't remember what happens.
Probably because what an individual imagines as a Langolier can't be replicated.Speaking of that i thought the story didn't work so well as a movie. The langoliers never got real enough in the movie. I do too. I'm excited to witness what happens to his character and how much this sheltered seventeen-year-old boy will have to mature throughout the story.I really like Albert. His fantasy of the fastest jew in the west is hilarious.
