The Winter Olympics are coming this Thursday. I am a huge fan of the Olympic games. I also love the opening ceremonies.

I love opening ceremonies also. I love watching ice dancing particularly -- it's never been the same without Torvil and Dean but still try to catch it.

I read a few weeks ago that the native American hoop dancers are in it. I would love to catch that! those guys are amazing!!
Of little import to the subject, but I just flew to South Korea for a gig last week. A number of people from Team USA were on the plane, and they got preferential boarding and a hearty round of applause at the gate.

I'm cheering for Charlotte Kalla who has one of relatively few decent chances of taking a goldmedal. Theres also a snowboard skier with a good chance at gold, then we have a few more medalchances. Sweden is a small country, To win a few golds is a success, for the US to be satisfied is more like 20.

I’m Canadian and I do not understand curling. Recently heard a story that will make me enjoy it even less.
Except when the Cutters are playing.
I think they should being back the sport of Duelling Pistol Shooting and make it a winter Olympic sport this time around.

I understand that shuffleboard will be the newest Summer Olympic sport. And if not, it should.
