And the 5 man bobsled is good. And I enjoy all the sking events. I used to ski a bit, and still can -- if the US needs an alternant! I think we've already seen the greatest skier who's ever lived or ever will live, France's Jean-Claude Killy. But who knows? And hey, curling is fine. True athletes at the top of their field! Had you rather see freestyle ballet sking?

I love my country.

This is the Welcome sign when you enter Canada Olympic House.

I wanted to select Full Image...because it deserves it. However it was huge, so click to read.

It is written in English, Korean, and French.

The first Olympic Pride House was in Vancouver in 2010. This year Canada is hosting Pride House.

Are we going to have to set our DVRs for the opening ceremonies because of the time difference? Is the U.S. planning on showing it in its entirety later in the evening?
From this article.... What Time Is The 2018 Olympics Opening Ceremony Happening? ... Short answer... you can livestream it very early in the am. I plan to watch it on regular TV at 8pm ET.

"In South Korea, the Opening Ceremony actually begins at 8 p.m. KST on Friday, Feb. 9, meaning that those livestreaming the event throughout the United States will be up in the early morning hours. If you're as eager of an Olympic fan as NBC contributor and SNL star Leslie Jones and willing to get out of bed, you better have your coffee ready for these wake-up calls. The Opening Ceremony streams live at these times in each American time zone:

  • 6 a.m. ET
  • 5 a.m. CT
  • 4 a.m. MT
  • 3 a.m. PT
  • 2 a.m. AKST
  • 1 a.m. HST
NBC has also announced that, for the first time, it will livestream the Opening Ceremony via NBC.com and the NBC Sports app.

Those unable to wake up early (or stay up late, if you're lucky enough to be in Hawaii right now) can catch the ceremony in primetime at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. A fully produced, two-hour Opening Ceremony complete with packages about athletes and Olympic traditions will air then."
