Nothing wrong with that . . .I know people that drive with both feet.
Hey, I can't operate all three pedals with just one foot...
Ahhh, M.M--you said 'manual', I love that and I think you're the first US citizen I've heard say this instead of 'stick shift'.I meant automatics~ I love driving manual transmission cars.

It's 'manual' here for us too.
Give me his name- I need a mechanic I can trust!I guess I was taught well by my mechanic . . .once I had to have a clutch replaced and I kept saying 'stick shift' and he kept saying 'manual'. So, I say manual because I have a lot of respect for him, he's taken care of my cars for over twenty years.
A good mechanic is priceless . . .he's been great~ I can count on him --I have for years!Give me his name- I need a mechanic I can trust!
I hear you. I am tired of being told by a mechanic that they have to do some extra special 'repair' work because they can't get the right part- 'it's not being made anymore'- only to find that I can get the part at the local car parts store. Most of them think that the general public is ignorant when it comes to cars. I've had them lie to my face about things on my car and then I get to embarrass the heck out of them when I tell them that they're wrong about this or that. They change their tune pretty quick once they realize that I know what I'm talking about and can't be bamboozled by them! I can't imagine what it would be like if I was female, I know that they totally take advantage of women and it's shameful! When I was young I had my brother-in-law teach me how to fix minor things on cars- I can change brake pads, change the oil, change the radiator fluid, rotate tires, change a flat, change a fuse, replace a radio, lots of things like that. For one thing so that I don't have to pay someone to do something that I can do myself and for another thing so that I won't be taken advantage of my dishonest repair people.A good mechanic is priceless . . .he's been great~ I can count on him --I have for years!

This reminds me of a dumb thing I said once to a mechanic. I had a pickup truck and when he asked where the problem was that I heard I said "It's in the front". duh - well I guess so as that is where the engine is!I was a dispatcher for many years and I was in charge of the fleet service. That's how I met my mechanic because I had to shop around for good service for our fleet. And you're right, many of the mechanics are in it to make more money and often they'll tell you that something needs to be replaced that doesn't and will overlooked the things that really should be replaced.
My mechanic services fleets and he has taught me a lot over the years . . .simple things like just getting the oil changed and tires rotated at the proper time will prolong the life of your car. Replacement of hoses and have it serviced for climate changes.
One thing he taught me that is priceless, and this is what he said: "Charlotte, get to know your car . . .turn the damn music off sometimes and listen to it so that when you hear something 'off', you bring it to me!"
I love the guy!
Bad lad.......sooooo, you'd like for him to grease your fittings while you check his ball joints???....
Better than the air between your ears, Scotty!!...I hate it when the mechanic tries to tell me that I need to rotate the air in my tires....
Oooh - you are in big trouble Meester!Better than the air between your ears, Scotty!!
Oh, I ain't scared- Scott knows I luvs him!Oooh - you are in big trouble Meester!
