Shine! Exactly.I think she meant your father-in-law. Isn't he the one who keeps blowing them up because he doesn't know how to take care of them?
Ah, that now makes sense. The wife keeps making excuses for him since he's approaching 77 years of age and she's the only one allowed to complain about him.I think she meant your father-in-law. Isn't he the one who keeps blowing them up because he doesn't know how to take care of them?
Now I understand. And you are correct. And this past winter he couldn't get my old snowblower I gave him working and last week he broke the outdoor blower/vac I got him. I asked him if he ever tries starting the snowblower up very 3 months or so. He said 'no.' Something else I'll have to try and get working. Although he still hasn't destroyed the grill I got him last year. No, I wasn't referring to you. Your father in law keeps tearing stuff up, doesn't he?
Be yea patient, July 4th is coming up and that means............BBQ time!!Now I understand. And you are correct. Well, since he's so good at counting cards, tell him to start counting all the damn tools and gadgets you've given him that he adds to The Land of Misfit WTH's.Now I understand. And you are correct. LOL. The oven in his stove isn't working and he refuses to get it fixed so he grills every day. He loves his grill. The wife and I are talking about getting a new stove with a burner that boils water in 90 seconds and giving him our old one, but haven't done it yet as I probably need to get a new dryer this weekend as the timer on ours stopped working and it will cost a minimum of $200 to get it fixed.Be yea patient, July 4th is coming up and that means............BBQ time!!
LOL. The wife is the only person allowed to complain. Whenever I say something I get "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT' from her.Well, since he's so good at counting cards, tell him to start counting all the damn tools and gadgets you've given him that he adds to The Land of Misfit WTH's.
Learn to say it in sign language. Then you can spare her ears.LOL. The wife is the only person allowed to complain. Whenever I say something I get "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT' from her.
Why are repairs always so expensive! Wonder if dryers go on sale for Father's Day??LOL. The oven in his stove isn't working and he refuses to get it fixed so he grills every day. He loves his grill. I roll my eyes and shake my head. That still ticks her off. He's getting to the point where he can't do much physical work anymore. She says she doesn't know how long he'll be around and she doesn't want to feel guilty about any negative stuff towards the end. I told her he'll probably outlive me.Learn to say it in sign language. There's one on sale right now I have my eyes on. The wife only wants one that is front loading. The price is $699 on sale for $479 until 6/5 and I get another 10% off that price, plus free delivery and haul away the old one.Why are repairs always so expensive! I get it. And if it was my daddy, I'd be weed eating your face every time you rolled your eyeballs and complained.I roll my eyes and shake my head. That still ticks her off. He comes up every Saturday and Sunday and stays about 6 hours each day. He can't help with much of anything physical anymore and follows the wife around like a puppy dog, and needs to be kept entertained. It drives her crazy and she feels guilty feeling angry about it. When I'm out doing work in the yard I'll occasionally get the look to come and talk to him in order to relieve her for a little bit so she can regain her sanity. She is soooo happy our pool is now open as he likes to lay out and swim... and let her alone for a bit.I get it. And if it was my daddy, I'd be weed eating your face every time you rolled your eyeballs and complained.
Good deal--- off you go. Front is easier ( unless you have a bad back and short arms) , but a deal is a factor too. There's one on sale right now I have my eyes on. I wonder if I could jump in and ask a question related to small engines - Andy has a Weed Eater - it's a Featherlite XT260, 16 " cut, 25 cc engine; I only know this because I took a picture of the front of it.Now I understand. First question is do you use gasoline with ethanol (I don’t know if they do that in Canada)? Ethanol doesn’t burn off in small engines and creates a gunk that lays in the carburetor to the point were it won’t start. There is something you can do that sometimes works if it’s a ethanol problem.I wonder if I could jump in and ask a question related to small engines - Andy has a Weed Eater - it's a Featherlite XT260, 16 " cut, 25 cc engine; I only know this because I took a picture of the front of it.
He has been trying to get it going with no success. It sat in our shed for a few years. Any suggestions?
Give it to Dio's father in law and he'll give it to Dio. You'll get it back fixed or a new one!I wonder if I could jump in and ask a question related to small engines - Andy has a Weed Eater - it's a Featherlite XT260, 16 " cut, 25 cc engine; I only know this because I took a picture of the front of it.

I think we will try the new gas. He did buy some sort of gas additive plus he took out the old spark plug which was stuck in there pretty good. He will most likely need to buy a new spark plug. Will also look for this Tru-Fuel stuff - thanks!First question is do you use gasoline with ethanol (I don’t know if they do that in Canada)? Is there old gas in the tank? If so put new gas in, or better yet, use something like Tru-Fuel which is premixed in either 40-1Oil Mix, or 50-1 Oil Mix depending on which type of 2-cycle weed eater you have.
When was the spark plug last changed?
If it has been sitting in a shed for a few years are the fuel lines still okay?
