Last week, read a Wambaugh book, "Holllywood" just for the chuckles. This morning, I checked out "Hollywood Crows", another Wambaugh book. Also finished a fascinating book about Navajo Code Talkers (I'm fascinated by American Indians). It is about an indian named Chester Nez and his U. S. Marine service during the Pacific War in WWII. Story was written by Judith Schiess Avila, as told by Chester Nez. There were about 420 Navajo code talkers who served and the code was never broken.

...I’m set to tackle Bev’s tonight...like you, I wanted fresh eyes...
I really enjoyed Bev's story! Bev Vincent He asks the same question (or rather one of the characters in the story does) I ask people who watch Walking Dead, etc.: What's going to happen to the zombies after they eat all of the regular people? No one seems to have an answer.....:D

For awhile this month and recently this week ive been reading Stephen King's Dark Tower III hardcover book.

Been kind of bored reading it since I read it a long time ago when I was in high school in the mid 1990s.

This year anyway i had to reread the first three Dark Tower books to remermber what went on in the series. Dark Tower II i zipped through but didnt enjoy since it was about druggie Eddie and the wheelchair chick.

Dark Tower III is mostly about the other Jake and the gang finding out about Blaine and the town that was affected by some big war that went on

druggie Eddie and the wheelchair chick

I can guarantee that you will catch some flak for this little tidbit. Allow me to be the first.

"Wheelchair chick?" Seriously? She has a name (a few of them, actually) and is a major character in the series. You don't have to like either character but, jeez dude, don't be a d*ck about it.

Excuse me but I am not being a dick. I can call her wheelchair Sally I dont care.

SHe has like what 3 names in Dark Tower II? Susan or Odette and some other name too since shes schizophrenic or whatever.

and yes Eddie was a druggie in Dark Tower II.

and I never said I dont hate them. Im just saying thats what they were like in Dark Tower II. Dark Tower II i didnt enjoy since I already read it before a long time when I was in high school in the mid 1990s. So, back off will ya

Dark Tower III which I am reading right now. Also not enjoying it as I used to back then. All it is, its about the gang meeting up with the other Jake and hearing about Blaine and then the weird town with the people who had some tragic history about a war

Re reading Dark Tower II and III these days, Im just not enjoying them as I used to back then. Yeah Im breezing through them but most of the pages are just filler stuff of Roland and Eddie and the gal arguing with each other while traveling around to get to Jake.

That and Oy which I never did like

Im just saying that re reading a long series by Stephen King just isnt fun anymore like it was back then in the mid 1990s. and im not saying back off to a moderator.

Its to anyone who wants to try to get on my back or argue with me about it.

So dont make it an issue, GNT. Just saying.

If I was re reading The Stand then that would be different since id be enjoying that more than a Dark Tower book.

Heck even though its a long book too, Id rather be re reading my old hardcover of Under the Dome or even Duma Key
