They don't know what they are missing.I was able to persuade my mother to read one Stephen King novel: The Shining. She said the woman in room 217 scared her so bad that she, to this day, needs a few lights on to sleep. My sister won't even try one. She says she's still frightened from my merely explaining parts of Gerald's Game to her when we were teenagers. As her brother, this delights me to no end. Heheheheh
