You didn't even ask how I knew what their van smells like....... I'm shocked, shocked, I say.Careful! You don't want to reel in every "Cheech & Chong fan" within a 420 mile radius!
We call it a mixing room.......The salon has a coven room? Is that a southern thing?
wait!...you weren't that actress in the back.....You didn't even ask how I knew what their van smells like....... I'm shocked, shocked, I say.
Tres new age wiccan chic!We call it a mixing room.......

Nah, stay and play with us.......unless the penalty box also has tequila, then I'm going with you!
This is crazy, where's the pic?! How brave are they, If you had ran out shouting would the bear leave? No bears in our part of the world.Thursday night we had a visit from a Black Bear. Climbed the fence, tore down several poles and destroyed numerous bird and suet feeders. Plus he left a big old pile of bear crap in the middle of the backyard. I fixed or replaced most everything on Sunday. Still have to get a couple of Shepherds poles. I went and got the trail cam and set it up in the backyard. Looked at the card to see what I got over the winter from the bottom of the property. One picture was quite interesting. Night image, poor quality, very dark and you can barely make out the image but it looked like it captured an alien spotted chupacabra with a bright lighted rectangle digital display for its face. Holly $hit... They’re among us!

I don't have the pick of the bear yet, I think. Just set up the cam in the backyard on Sunday. The mountain is just up the road and I’ve seen a couple while driving. Female black bears travel up to 6 miles and males up to 15 miles. Most black bears can be scared off by shouting but not the big males as they fear nothing. And you never want to disturb a mother bear with cubs. I once had to stop the car and let a big male, well over 500 pounds, lumber across the road without a care in the world. From the one pole that it bent it had to be at least 6 feet tall standing on its hind legs. The scary part is the bear had to be within 20 feet of two of our sliding doors, which it could have broken through with little effort. I’ve broken out the .308 and 9mm just in case. This is crazy, where's the pic?! How brave are they, If you had ran out shouting would the bear leave? No bears in our part of the world.
I have all kinds of houses for the birds, but I don't feed them because of the danger of bears.I’ve had many close encounters with black bear over the years. Whether from feeding the birds, walking the dog, while fishing or hiking. The best bet for you and the bear is to stop feeding the birds immediately. The bear will be back if there is food out. It is a terrible thing to have these magnificent animals become dependent on humans for their food. Basically it’s a death sentence for the bear as it will continue to look for food in the wrong places and eventually be labeled a problem bear and be removed.

Black bears around here are not dependent on humans. They have an abundance of habitat on the mountain (I'm located on the foothills of the mountain). It was just probably a opportunistic thing on a pre-spring journey. I’ve been feeding the birds for 20 years now and have never had an issue with bears before. Whitetail deer, yes, but not bears. But if it returns I'll stop feeding the birds for a time as I couldn’t afford to keep buying new feeders.I’ve had many close encounters with black bear over the years. That's very cool, I'd get a rocket launcher while you're at it. 6 feet tall, 500 pounds. Sheesh! (Sheesh is a word I don't use that often)I don't have the pick of the bear yet, I think. I'll check out the cam over the weekend and post any pics. The strange creature on the pic is probably a coyote as I see them across the street in the farm field quite often.
New Hampshire Fish and Game advises feeding the birds from Dec.1st until April 1st to avoid confrontations with bears so that what I do.I have all kinds of houses for the birds, but I don't feed them because of the danger of bears.
