The Real ID card, yes. You must appear in person with a crap ton of ID and it takes forever. My license expires this month, so nothing like waiting until the last minute! :a11:

Be sure you have a certified copy of your marriage license to show the link between your birth certificate and your married name.

I took my marriage license but they said it wasn't a copy. It was the damn original. They needed a certified copy. I lucked out because the county I was applying for my license in is also where I got married, so they were able to call the court house and get a copy of the exact same original document I gave them.

Mine was the original with actual signatures of the judge and everything! It was nuts.

I have a passport in my married name, so that supercedes the birth certificate. The hard part was finding bills, etc. with my name on them. My husband does most of the bills in his name. We've been thru the list of approved docs and think I have more than needed. Going to attempt to get there before they open to help speed me along. Just have heard horror stories. It's been a LONG time since I've had to go to the DMV.

December 12th, 2019 will show in the annals of SwiftDog history as a day of celebration and achievement! It is the day I completed my MBA coursework!

Our client presentation was well received and they were quite happy with the results. It was quite a roller coaster ride to get there. It increased my blood pressure and caused more grey hair, but we got there in the end:p

iIt was a looooonnngggg two years. It required a large investment of time and effort. I had to pass on a lot of social events and take time away from other things I’d rather have been doing.

Finally done and looking forward to having some free time and not have to worry about homeworker and going to class!
Congrats!!! Now, celebrate and enjoy the newfound freedom!

I was out last night putting down ice melt after buiding a lean-to over the heat pump to shelter it from water which freezes it up. I slipped on the ice and fell backwards, hitting my butt and back on the steps. Got up and thought… Everything feels fine, no pain, I must have lucked out. This morning when I woke up I wondered if anyone got the number of the freight train that hit me. And walking outside to 13 degree temps didn’t help. Getting old sucks! :(

Ouch....that's gotta hurt. Take care of yourself Dio, the getting old thing must indeed suck, I personally wouldn't know about that kind of thing as I'm just a mere whelp of 54.

Healing vibes your way. Yes, getting old sucks, and the older you get the suckier it gets!

Better go to the doctor DiO. Backs are nothing to fool with. Any numbness starts happening go ASAP.
Thanks, but my answer to back injuries has always been doing strenuous things and taking 3 Advil. The harder the work the better the back feels. Seems to work for me. Hopefully they'll have some steel shelving that needs to be reset at the home improvement center this evening. :)

Standing in a dark house in work waiting to go home, electricity not connected so too dark for painting. Rain is coming down pretty heavy. Last full day today, we're in in the morning and the boss has a burrito van organised to come and feed us, then we get paid and then we can go home. Back in work on the 2nd of January.
