Last Sunday I had my 'Sunday movie marathon' for the month, I watched movies all day. Form 9am to 11pm. Breaks for lunch and toilets breaks are allowed. I watched: My Bloody Valentine; Buried Alive(I always like Tim Matheson); They Crawl; Killer Flood; Vampire Hunter D Bloodust.

Yale just had 8 beers at the Wallsend Diggers club in Newcastle. Yale when he walked out was asked by a short young lady(true) where is Thomas Street? She had an accent like from Brazil or something. So I said 'Follow me' and I led her back to the main reception area where the guy at the place has ideas. I will stop saying that word when I want too. Unfortnualtuly, life in the Western Countries is going downhill because of something. I was contemplating not coming on here anymore because the only person on this website I wanted to marry was Ashcrash.

Granddaughter is coming for a visit today while her mom goes out. She's been getting more comfortable with me...really attached to mommy.

You know how some kids have a security toy or blanket...well for her it's
boobs!

When another child would grab their teddy, or suck their thumb, she will stick her hand down her mom's shirt. So with me babysitting, that's what she started.

When she did it in front of my son, he laughed and said she never did that with him...only her mom. The mom said " that's because you feel like the dog".

Anyway, today I'm wearing a t-shirt with a higher neck. We'll see how this goes.

This post made me think of the Keats poem, Bright Star. "Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast, to feel for ever its soft fall and swell...".
After Whitman and Frost, Keats is foremost in my thoughts and mental index of poets.
How old is your granddaughter, btw?

My niece would do this to me all the time. When I tried to stop that, I would feel her little hand walking it's way up under the back of my shirt for a sneaky reach around.

Today I am getting my suitcase out and dusting it off. Going down to Vancouver to visit Anne for a week. Trying to
figure out what to bake for them too Think it is going to be butter tarts, brownies and Belgian cookies. But that
could change (or increase ;) ). Just can't wait!!!
I wonder if you could give me an idea of what to bake for tomorrow night? It's the weekly "pow wow" that is held at the Turtle Island Community Centre.

It just happens to fall on my day off - I was thinking cookies, but squares and bars are good too - I'll have to research it when I get up tomorrow and put my mind to it.

I used to be a baking fanatic like you, but somehow or other I got out of the habit :dunno:

p.s. Enjoy your trip! I hear that Vancouver is a beautiful city :cool2:

I am starting day 3 of my training class. So far it's going pretty well, but I'm not used to being away from my family for so long and I am missing them.
Did you bring any good books to read on your down time? Sending you good wishes - how many more days until you get to reunite with the family?
